1 Day 1: Canberra

Leave Sydney this morning and begin your journey to Canberra. En route, stop at historic Berrima and a working sheep farm, and enjoy a barbecue lunch. On arrival, tour Parliament House before a welcome drink and dinner with your tour director and fellow travellers. L, D.

2 Day 2: Beechworth

Travel the Alpine Way to Beechworth, Victoria’s best preserved gold rush town, for a unique overnight stay. B.

3-4 Day 3-4: Melbourne

Take a tour of Beechworth followed by time at leisure. Continue on to Melbourne for a two night stay. The following day is free to explore Melbourne and its surrounding area. B.

5 Day 5: Great Ocean Road / Melbourne

Today the Great Ocean Road awaits. Stop at Torquay and Bells Beach, and visit the Twelve Apostles before finishing the day in the whale watching capital of Warrnambool. B, D.

6 Day 6:Adelaide

Visit Worn Gundidj at Tower Hill State Game Reserve with an Aboriginal guide. Cross the South Australia border into Mt. Gambier for a city tour. Stop to view the Blue Lake then travel on to Adelaide for a two night stay. B, D.

7 Day 7: Barossa Valley

Enjoy a tour of Adelaide then journey north to visit one of Australia’s best-known wine-producing regions, the Barossa Valley. Visit Jacob’s Creek winery for a wine tasting. After a lunch of local produce with wine, explore a little more of the region before returning to Adelaide. B, L.

8-9 Day 8-9: Kangaroo Island

Visit Glenelg then continue on to the coastal village of Victor Harbor. Enjoy time to explore then travel by ferry to Kangaroo Island for two nights. The next day, head to Flinders Chase National Park and see Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch. Lunch is a food and wine experience at Andermel Marron Farm. Later, walk among a colony of sea lions at the Seal Bay Conservation Park. B; B, L, D.

10 Day 10: Adelaide

Cruise back to Cape Jervis then on to Adelaide. Tour the 140-year old Adelaide market. Later, transfer to Adelaide airport where this itinerary ends. B.
