1 Day 1: Lapaz

Transfer from the airport to the hotel in La Paz. La Paz airport is located 25 minutes away from any hotel downtown. Transportation includes bilingual guide, assistance on arrival and porterage at the airport. Overnight at your selected hotel*.

2 Day 2: Zongo - Titicaca Lake

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a journey to Zongo, in the heart of the Cordillera de Los Andes, surrounded by mountains reaching an altitude of 6.000 m, watching spectacular sceneries and colorful lagoons in the Zongo Valley. Arrive to the base camp for climbers to Huayna Potosi and walk along the trails, sharing with the local indigenous community. View of the highest cosmic ray laboratory of the world. Box lunch. Continue to Huatajata. On arrival, visit the Andean Roots Eco Village, the Altiplano Museum, the Handicrafts Village, the Mud Igloos and the Mortuary Towers of the Urus Chipayas. Meet the Limachi family, builders of the RA II and Tigris for epic expeditions across the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy our elegant vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and the mythical Suri. Audiovisual presentation and night experience of The Mystic World of the Kallawayas, natural healers of Bolivia who believe that you first have to heal the soul in order to heal your body. Tata Benjo -our Kallawaya- will bless visitors and answer questions by casting his sacred coca leaves. Enjoy a nocturnal visit to the Native Observatory Alajpacha. Learn about the Aymara Cosmovision and watch the southern constellations. Overnight at the Inca Utama Hotel & SPA.

3 Day 3: Titicaca Lake

Breakfast at the hotel. Hydrofoil cruise to Moon Island, visit the Sun Virgins Temple “Iñak Uyu”. Continue to Sun Island, to visit the Pilcocaina Sun Temple. Enjoy a “llama” trek to the hotel. Lunch upon arrival. Afternoon at leisure to explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the Posada del Inca Eco Lodge.

4 Day 4: Titicaca Lake

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning is leisure. Around noon visit the Inca Grand Stairs and the Sacred Fountain; taste the water believed to give eternal youth and happiness. Lunch at the Uma Kollu archaeological restaurant. Visit the small handicraft market. Hydrofoil cruise to Huatajata. Enjoy a nocturnal visit to the Native Observatory Alajpacha. Learn about the Aymara Cosmovision and watch the southern constellations. Overnight at the Inca Utama Hotel & SPA.

5 Day 5: Coroico

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day excursion to the small village of Tahua, at the foot of Thunupa Volcano. Stroll through the village and hike to the cave of the Coquesa Mummies. Lunch included. Dinner and overnight at a salt hotel* at the shores of the Uyuni Salt Lake. Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up and start an amazing 3 day-journey, descending from the icy peaks of the Andes to the subtropical zone of the Yungas. Its cultural characteristic is the symbiosis between Afro-Bolivians and Aymara indigenous. Coroico is a picturesque village with fantastic views. Mururata has an exuberant flora, as well as coffee and coca leaf plantations. In this area -specially inhabited by descendants of African slaves- lives a direct descendant of African King Bonifacio, who was crowned a few years ago as a symbolic tribute to the Afro-Bolivian culture. Lunch. Dinner and overnight at the El Viejo Molino hotel.
