12 Days

1 Day 1: Frankfurt. Tuesday 

Individual arrival in Frankfurt, transfer to the hotel. Frankfurt is a major hub and Germany's most important commercial city with skyscrapers, excellent art galleries and a charming reconstructed Mediaeval town Centre. Rest of the day free to rest or engaging in own activites. Overnight at the Hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt.

2 Day 2: Rüdesheim - St. Goar - Cologne

After a buffet breakfast (German breakfast are one of the bests in the world!) departure to Rüdesheim, a small Rhine-valley town from where we will board a boat and sail along the most picturesque part of the Rhine: the Lorelei valley named after the legendary siren whose song brought sailors to their early death. We disembark in St. Goar and travel to Cologne, an old Roman city famous for its many spires. Overnight at the Hotel Maritim

3 Day 3: Cologne - Hamburg

After breakfast we depart for Hamburg. Upon arrival you enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. The city is the second largest port in Europe and is known for its elegant boulevards and the famous neighborhood of St. Pauli. Overnight at the Hotel Novotel Hamburg Alster in Hamburg

4 Day 4: Hamburg - Berlin 

Morning is free to explore the city on your own, then afternoon transfer to Berlin. Accommodation at the Hotel NH Friedrichstrasse.in Berlin

5 Day 5:Saturday Berlin

Sightseeing of Germany's capital. You will see the most important sites like the Unter den Linden boulevard, remnants of the Berlin wall and the Brandenburg Gate, the new parliament and Potsdam Square. Afternoon free to visit Berlin at your leisure We recommend its many interesting museums. Overnight at the Hotel NH Friedrichstrasse in Berlin

6 Day 6: Potsdam - Frankfurt)

Breakfast , then departure to Potsdam, the scene of the famed Conference of 1945 that decided that fate of Europe. We will visit the Sanssouci palace and park. In the afternoon you board a high-speed train and travel from Berlin to Frankfurt. Transfer to the hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt, dinner and overnight.

7 Day 7: Heidelberg - Freiburg, Black Forest 

Today we drive to Heidelberg, a university town with an imposing castle overlooking  the picturesque Neckar river. Visit the castle ascending with the cable car and enjoy a sightseeing tour of its historic city center. We will take the panoramic road right into the heart of the Black Forest down to Freudenstadt. Today we overnight at the capital of the Black Forest area, in Freiburgh at the Hotel Rheingold. 

8 Day 8: Freiburg - Lake Titi - Lindau - Füssen 

Walking tour of  old Freiburg,  the drive to Titisee, in the heart of the Black Forest. We will visit a cuckoo clock production workshop where you will have a demonstration  on the traditional methods of cuckoo clock making. Taste the traditional Black Forest cake and enjoy a cup of coffee before continuing to the small and charming town of Lindau on the shore of beautiful Lake Constance, then continue drive through the scenic Alpine road to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt and to our final destination, the Bavarian town of Füssen. Overnight in Fussen at the Hirsch hotel

9 Day 9: Neuschwanstein – Wieskirche - Oberammergau - Ettal - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Guided visit of Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “Mad King“. In the afternoon we travel to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play that takes place in the town every 10 years.  Along the way we visit the Wieskirche Church before continuing the tour to the Baroque Ettal Benedictine Abbey. Taste the delicious cheese on a visit to the local cheese factory. Today‘s final destination is Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany’s winter sports capital and site of the 1936 winter Olympics. This mountainous region also features Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze (2.962 m). Overnight at the e Rheinischer Hof hotel in Garmish.

10 Day 10: Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck - Linderhof - Munich

After breakfast we will drive over to Austria, an old imperial town in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. As an alternative excursion you may also ascend to the top of Zugspitze (instead of Innsbruck, not included). In the afternoon we travel to Munich and visit and other King Ludwig castle, the jewelry box looking Linderhof. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one where the king actually lived for a significant amount of time. Overnight at the Eden Hotel Wolff in Munich..

11 Day 11: Friday Munich

After breakfast city tour of Munich to visit the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower and other attractions. The capital of Bavaria, Munich, is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September. The afternoon is free to explore the city on your own. We will treat you to a typical Bavarian farewell dinner this evening at one of the local brewery restaurants. Overnight in Munich at the hotel Eden Hotel Wolff.

12 Day 12: Saturday Munich - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Frankfurt

Morning departure to Medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town then  Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the signature dish of Rothenburg. Continue on to Frankfurt. The program ends at Frankfurt airport around 6 pm.. End of services.
