1 Day 1:Arrival in Vilnius

Arrival in Vilnius and transfer from the airport to your hotel. Dinner and accommodation at Radisson Blu Lietuva Hotel (or similar), a first class hotel located only 2km away from the Old Town. Sights of interest in the city centre of Vilnius include the Old Town, Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas' Tower and the Gates of Dawn. Your tour escort will meet you at 19:00 hrs in the hotel lobby for a welcome meeting.

2 Day 2:Vilnius - Old Town - Trakai

Breakfast at the hotel before you start your morning sightseeing tour. This includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anna’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. Vilnius is known for its more than 1.200 medieval buildings and 48 churches.

In the afternoon we continue to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania and we visit the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening you will enjoy a folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas. Accommodation at Radisson BLU Lietuva (or similar).

3 Day 3: Vilnius – Riga

Breakfast at the hotel before you start heading for Riga. The first stop is the Hills of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania. After crossing into Latvia we soon reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Following a guided tour of the palace we travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija (or similar).

4 Day 4: Riga - Gauja National Park

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we will discover the medieval Latvia and go on a tour to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We listen to the medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle and of the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before returning to Riga again. In the afternoon we will visit the Ethnographical Open Air Museum, a spacious exposition of the 18th century country life. When evening comes we will enjoy an organ concert in the Dome Cathedral. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija (or similar).

5 Day 5: Riga - Old Town - Jurmala beach resort

Breakfast at the hotel. Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the 3 Baltic capitals and boasts a true kaleidoscope of various architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, Swedish Gates, Three Brothers, Large and Small Guild House and the Freedom Monument.

The afternoon is reserved for a visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. In the evening you will enjoy a Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant La Boheme. Accommodation at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija (or similar).

6 Day 6:Riga - Parnu - Tallinn

Breakfast at the hotel. The tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu. We do a short tour of the resort before we continue through the North Estonian land of forests and arrive in Tallinn early afternoon. Dinner and accommodation at the Radisson Blu Hotel Olympia (or similar).

7 Day 7:Tallinn - Old Town

Breakfast at the hotel. Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, medieval Old Town Hall and Great Guild Hall. In the afternoon excursion to Kadriorg Park and visit to KUMU, the award-winning new Estonian art museum, with its collections of classic and contemporary fine art. In the evening medieval dinner at Restaurant Peppersack. Accommodation at the Hotel Radisson Blu Olympia (or similar).

8 Day 8: Tallinn - Helsinki

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we take the hydrofoil (ferry) from Tallinn to Helsinki. We will enjoy a refreshing tour through the Finnish archipelago before arriving in the Finnish Capital. Upon arrival we are transferred to our hotel and check-in. The balance of the day is reserved for exploring Helsinki individually. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Scandic Simonkentta (or similar).

9 Day 9: Helsinki

Breakfast at the hotel. Helsinki is truly located at the crossroads of Western and Eastern culture and this is reflected everywhere in the green and lively Finnish capital. The sightseeing tour takes us around the harbours and the Senate Square with the Lutheran Cathedral, up central Mannerheim Street and by the Parliament Building, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monument and for a visit at the famous Church-in-the-Rock. In the afternoon we will go on an excursion to Seurasaari Open-Air Museum, an oasis in the midst of the city with cottages, farmsteads and manors from all around Finland. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Scandic Simonkentta (or similar).

10 Day 10: Helsinki – St. Petersburg

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we continue eastbound to St. Petersburg. Shortly after crossing the border into Russia we arrive in Vyborg, where we take time for a short sightseeing tour and a photo stop at Vyborg Castle. In the late afternoon we arrive in St. Petersburg. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Radisson Sonya (or similar).

11 Day 11: St. Petersburg - Peterhof & Nikolaevsky Palace

Breakfast at the hotel. St. Petersburg is an amazing city. Its imperial palaces and museums enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River and the many canals have deservedly given the city the title “The Venice of the North”. During the morning sightseeing tour we get acquainted with all the splendours of the city: the Peter-Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Savior, the Nevsky Convent and much more. For the afternoon we will go on a visit to Peterhof, an uncontested masterpiece of the time of Peter the Great, with the impressive Grand Palace, Grand Cascade and Water Avenue and its wonderful parks. In the evening you will enjoy a visit to the Nikolaevsky Palace with an exciting Russian folklore show and Russian “champagne” and snacks. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Radisson Sonya (or similar).

12 Day 12: St. Petersburg

Breakfast at the hotel. The morning is reserved for an excursion to Zarskoye Selo with the impressive Catherine’s Palace and the Amber Room, which vanished during World War II and was restored for St. Petersburg’s tri-centennial celebrations. In the afternoon we will visit the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum before we in the evening enjoy a Russian dinner at Restaurant Russian Kitsch. Accommodation at Hotel Radisson Sonya (or similar).

13 Day 13:St. Petersburg – Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel. The early morning is reserved for an guided shopping tour to fashion and souvenir boutiques on the Nevsky Prospect. Around noon we go to the Moscow Railway Station and board the Sapsan high-speed train bound for Moscow. The train ride takes us through endless Russian landscapes along the River Volga. In the late afternoon we arrive to Moscow. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Novotel Moscow Centre (or similar).

14 Day 14:Moscow - Kremlin & Red Square

Breakfast at the hotel. Moscow, The Mother of Russia, is a genuine Russian city with the Kremlin and its onion domed cathedrals. The dramatic changes over the last decade have made the city to one of the most dynamic metropolis in the world. The morning sightseeing tour includes all the highlights of the vast city: the Red Square with Kremlin, the Theatre Square with Bolshoi Theatre, Sparrow Hills with Moscow University and a visit to the famous Moscow Metro. In the afternoon we go on an excursion to the Kremlin grounds with a visit to one of the cathedrals. The evening we will experience a Moscow by night tour including an unforgettable river cruise with the White Flotilla. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Novotel Moscow Centre (or similar).

15 Day 15:Moscow - Novidevichy Convent & Tretyakov Gallary

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning excursion to Novidevichy Convent, a 16th century cluster of sparkling domes, one of the city’s most beautiful groups of buildings and full of history and treasures. The adjacent Novodevichy Cemetery is Moscow‘s most prestigious resting place after the Kremlin. Later on the day we go on an excursion to the Tretyakov Gallery with its outstanding collection of French impressionists. In the evening we visit to the Old Russian Circus. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel Novotel Moscow Centre (or similar).

16 Day 16:Departure from Moscow

Breakfast at hotel followed by transfer to the airport for your flight home.
